Taliana “The Teep Princess” Ioane Becomes WBC Muay Thai World Championships Gold Medalist in Italy 🥇
What a moment for Premier and for one of its youngest rising stars. Taliana “The Teep Princess” Ioane captured the WBC Muay Thai World Championships Gold Medal in the 10–11 year old, 38 kg division, representing the United States in Venice, Italy.
Taliana showcased poise and maturity far beyond her age throughout the tournament. In the semifinals, she faced Germany and delivered an outstanding performance, winning by TKO in the second round to secure her spot in the finals.
In the championship bout, she went up against a seasoned opponent from France, a multiple-time national champion. Taliana stayed composed under pressure, controlled the pace with her signature teeps and timing, and earned a unanimous decision victory to bring home the gold for Team USA.
From the first day she walked into the gym at five years old, Coach Jeremy and Coach Selina saw something special in her. Over the years, she’s proven them right every step of the way — from her early days as a beginner, to national champion, and now, World Championships Gold Medalist.
“This girl is growing up to be not only a phenomenal fighter, but an even better person,” said Coach Selina. “We’re so proud of her and everything she continues to achieve.”
Taliana’s journey is a reflection of hard work, discipline, and belief. She represents everything Premier stands for, both in and out of the ring. This gold medal is another milestone in what promises to be a long and successful career for The Teep Princess.
From Day 1 to World Championships Gold Medalist, the journey continues. 👑
